About the Role
Ohio Dominican University's Division of Mathematics, Computer and Natural Sciences seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor of Exercise Science for a full-time position beginning August 2024. The Division offers undergraduate programs in Exercise Science, Biology, Chemistry and Environmental Science. The qualified candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Exercise Science or related field (ABD will be considered with degree completion required by August 2024) and demonstrate excellence in teaching and potential for scholarship.
The successful candidate will have primary responsibilities teaching undergraduate courses and facilitating associated labs in Exercise Science. Preference will be given to applicants with experience and/or ability to teach courses such as cadaver-based human anatomy, human physiology, exercise physiology, exercise testing and prescription, biomechanics and motor learning. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a student research program; development of courses to support the program; advising; and service to the department and related program areas, the division, the University, and the community.
